Heritage Night is a celebration where students and the community come together to celebrate and learn about the variety of cultures and traditions represented at WSES. Held October 26, 2023, this year's Heritage Night featured many fun-filled activities  for students and families to connect and learn about each other. 

• We shared in sampling foods from around the country and around the world. Our food is more than just what sustains us, it can be an important part of our family traditions. From Apple Crisp to Zaa’tar bites, we loved getting to share our favorite dishes with each other.
• We had a full evening of student performances from poetry to signing to dance on stage in the WSES gym.
• Mrs. Diaz led salsa dancing lessons all night long!
• Families created displays and activities to share the histories and traditions of places they have lived

WSES is fortunate to have numerous countries and cultures reflected through our students as well as many families who have traveled or been stationed abroad, and throughout the United States. Heritage Night was an amazing opportunity to learn more about fellow classmates and WSES families through their cultures, travels, food and traditions.
