West Springfield ES Chorus 5th and 6th Grade
We would love to invite you to join the 5th and 6th Grade chorus program at West Springfield Elementary! Chorus is open to all 5th and 6th grade students at WSE and no choral experience is required.
Chorus class will be held for 30 minutes once a week for both 5th and 6th grade. 5th Grade chorus will be held on Mondays from 1:45 – 2:15 and 6th grade will have chorus on Tuesdays from 2:50 – 3:20. It is our plan to start the second week of September.
Requirements:
• Students will need to attend two after school concert performances (dates TBD). Possible additional performance opportunities might arise, but they will be strictly voluntary.
• Before concerts, students will need to attend at least one after school combined rehearsal to play though the music with the accompanist. If your child is unable to attend the after-school dress rehearsal, please make sure to let us know. More information will be provided concerning times and dates.
• Each student will need to purchase a plain black folder to store their music for class and possible performances
