On November 22, 2021, West Springfield Elementary School welcomed Dr. Scott Brabrand to our school. Dr. Brabrand, the Superintendent of Fairfax County Public Schools was treated to seeing project based learning in action and was able to participate in seeing our third graders share the geography "All About" books they had created and were sharing with our second graders. Dr. Brabrand also helped our administrators, Dr. Sheers and Mrs. Hibner, give our staff an early Thanksgiving treat, helping serve our staff apple and pumpkin pie!
